Stop Hospital Adminisration Fees going up by sending out only one letter

I received a letter for an appointment which I could not keep - telephoned the department who could not give me another over the telephone -but received another letter the next day with an appointment which I also could not attend - telephoned again - and was told once more that they could not give me an appointment over the telephone -the next day the same again a letter through the post - the stamp money for one person was over a £1 - tell them to sort their Administration out - when they should be able to help clients over the telephone with appointments - I was just one person - how many more people have received the same -wasting money. 

Why the contribution is important

Just wasting public money.

    Agreed - set up a more streamlined system, maybe with email as the preferred option where the patient can receive email, and that could also have a facility to request confirmation that the appointment is accepted, both confirming receipt and helping planning if appointment is unsuitable.

    If you phoned up,couldn't they have asked you when you would be best placed to attend? It sure needs looking at if they can't look at a list and tell you when next available.How do they know when their appointments are if no list to look at? Presumably they looked at it before sending you the next letter.Why don't they use the blood clinic way,where you phone up,they have a big clipboard in front of them and put you in on an agreed day/time......end of story.Sounds like folks at Nobles need to be more joined up and also if you rang the number on the letterhead why didn't they have the information required? Downright inefficient and no real excuse bar for "we've done it like this for 30 years............" .
