Stop all child benefit

Child benefit is a major cost to the tax payer.  It is one of the universal benefits but does not apply universally.

Universal benefits should apply to everyone - health, school education , state pension.

Why should childless people contribute to a universal benefit that they will never get.   Additionally,  child benefit could be thought of as nothing more than a subisday to have kids.

Child benefit should be stopped or alternatively childless people should be given a generous refund

Why the contribution is important

Stopping child benefit would save a signifcant amout of money

Agree. Either child benefit should be stopped or restricted to two children only.

Consideration should be given to charging for callout of the Emergency
Services. Other countries charge for such services, e.g. Australia
charges a fee of $900 (AUD) for fire service attendance, including
    false alarm.

Tax payer money is wasted on numerous fire service callouts, for
example attending a chimney fire. Property owners/householders
should be held responsible for ensuring chimneys are swept. Similarly,
increasing callouts due to incidents involving log burners and combustible
items stored in close proximity, chip pan fires, etc. Also, rescue of animals,
whose safety is the responsibility of owners should be chargeable.
