Recycle patient equipment

Recycle patient equipment , crutches etc that are given out from the hospital. There is no system for return, so new are bought all the time.

Why the contribution is important

Waste of materials and money

Yeah, great idea, heard about this from a news item. Should be easy enough to implement to.

Definitely- relatives of mine still have occupational therapy equipment from last year as they don't know what to do with it.

What about the beds they give to some patients do they get reviewed to make sure they are still needed & if so how often?

There is a system. But they don't keep track of what has been issued.
Take equipment back to the DHSC depot on the Kirby Farm Industrial Estate, Vicarage Road, Braddan.

Surely a small deposit in return for a redemption ticket would work? You get your deposit back when you return the item to central stores.Simples!
