Means test the parents of benefits claimants

Means test the parents of benefits claimants and if their property is large enough and they are wealthy enough then they should take care of their offspring

Why the contribution is important

I know of a number of people who are pretty wealthy yet have palmed their kids off into council houses and on to benefits as soon as they could. You breed them, you feed them.

    Your argument is floored.
The minute you stated " You breed them you feed them"

Did the poorer person not breed there's?
And in that case should also be responsible for there's Adult children also?

Or are you suggesting that the couple who work all their lives should continue to be hit, whilst a couple supported all their life, they will have their adult off spring supported?

    Kill the workers

Actually GAC, I agree with you. What I am saying is the offspring of the very well off (not middle income or working class), should be supported , if necessary, by their parents and not by the state, whilst those who choose not to work and have a state-sponsored lifestyle should be equally and firmly discouraged from spending their lives living off a benefits cheque. The welfare state needs to be viewed as a safety net and not a comfort blanket.
