Ebilling for water and local commissioners rates

Instead of posting water and local commissioners rates bills, which are collected by treasury, provide the option of ebilling.

Why the contribution is important

Waste of money posting paper bills to every house.

And why are some local authorities such as Douglas duplicating the work of Treasury rates section in terms of rates billing? It would be simpler and more efficient for both ratepayers and entities alike if all rates were billed and collected by one shared service.

The bigger question is why there needs to be a Treasury rates section demands should be issued by those organisations who benefit. Using Treasury to collect money for third parties is very expensive but a welcome subsidy to the MUA and smaller local authorities. Stop it.
