Close Ramsey Cottage Hospital

We do not need two hospitals for a population the size of a very small UK town.

Why the contribution is important

Close down Ramsey Cottage Hospital and use the money to better provide services at Nobles.

I agree. There is no hospital in the South and no need for one. Neither is there any need in the North or West of the Island. Save the costs of running this hospital and sell it on or change the use of the building.

The Cottage Hospital is under-used and could take more patients away from Noble's.

It needs to be developed as a poly-clinic rather than being closed down.

Services should be in the community that they serve.

Hospitals are for acute and complex cases.

The cottage hospital provides local services for the local community and reduces the load on Nobles.

Ramsey Cottage services need to be expanded not closed, also where would the patients from the wards go, to the none existent beds in Nobles???

Closure of the Hospital should save at least £10,000,000 with no detriment. Staff could be transferred to Nobles, no need for the cost of the upkeep. We are just doubling up costs.
