A Listening Government

There are also a lot of additional good ideas around at the moment. I do not have any political affiliation and am not a member of LibVan but there was much that I agreed with in their Press release dated 7 November 2015. Also Chris Robertshaw's views on the big, bureaucratic and clunky nature of Government I am sure will have struck a cord with many. The problem at present I'm afraid is that Government just doesn't seem to be listening. It now requires radical new thinking and if not forthcoming the hope can only be that come next year there will be a major shake up to address the problem and to better secure the future for the people of the Island.

    Hear, hear!

We do in - this 21st century 'representative democracy' - need new ways of ensuring MHKs & CoMin are actually taking notice of the wishes of manx voters & enforcing their political priorities
