Old habits die hard

When road layouts change, police should monitor correct use for a period, and educate drivers when problems occur.

e.g. Mini roundabouts at Douglas Bridge and Governors Bridge - some drivers on what used to be the major road don't seem to have changed their driving.

When the zebra crossing in Ballanard Road was new, the morning traffic queue was avoided by many drivers still overtaking to use the Port-e-Chee rat run, despite it having become an offence.

Why the contribution is important

Rebuilding of Loch Prom / Harris Prom will require major changes to driver behaviour.
