Don't pay agency Doctors £7,000 a month to work here

There needs to be a higher profile employment drive. An A&E doctor was talking, recently, about how much he earns and the benefits of being an agency worker ie. accomodation, travel to and from the Island.

Why the contribution is important

The Island needs stability with staffing levels for the sake of the patients and their care.

Create incentives for Manx students/ residents to go into medical professions.

Agincourt I totally agree with you. A friend of mine gave up a well paid job to do her Nursing training because it was what she really wanted to do. Hours are long, pay not good but she loves it.
If we had full time employed staff we would reduce the need for agency staff, therefore creating funds to employ/train more staff.

Indeed more full time staff. Who are treated fairly, moral at hospital very low.

Better to have temp staff than no staff.
Need to have better incentives for manx students, trained off island to return.

Nobles hospital should work towards NO agency staff and have more fully trained and full time Island staff.

Those who retire, get a big lump sum and monthly pension should not be able to be re-employed or "do" Bank above Band 5.
